The story is about four protagonist Meera, Vivaan, Kabir, and Nisha who have great ambitions in life and how their stories get connected with one another.
This books is about these four people and how their lives are connected to each other to form this story. Meera who dreams of becoming an author is in search of a story that can touch millions of lives. Well she does find one in form of Vivaan, who touches and changes her life. Vivaan tells her to write the story about Kabir who is in love with Nisha. However, the plot of the story lacks behind severely. It's more like a typical Indian romance daily soap with predictable incidents where Meera is more like a 'cry baby' who is more focused on Vivaan than her story. The love story between Kabir and Nisha cannot be overlooked.
This book is called as 'Inspirational Love Story. Well, I didn't find anything 'exceptionally' inspirational in the 'love' story but yes, there are so many inspiring quotes. At times they are nice but sometimes they are too much, and disrupt the flow of the story. The narration shifts between the two main characters every few chapters and it is confusing as to who is narrating it. This also does not allow us to form an image of the characters in our minds. They seem superficial. Certain situations are very convinient such as how Vivaan has so much money to invest in cafe and also travel the world. He also sits in hospital for months together without working. In the end he hopes to travel again. On the whole, the book starts as a dream; moves ahead like a journey – a journey of hope, of love, of disappointments, of heartbreaks and most importantly of life and ends on a happy note rather an inspiring note.
The author shows good promise for a debut novel and can do better with a more interesting story next time. I would recommend it for spare time and a light read.
