My Takes
Starting from the cover is a couples in temple background and the title of the I Shall Always Love You gives the hint to the reader's it's going to be a love story. I personally feel after reading the book the cover and title can be much better it's not much attractive to catch the attention of the readers.
The book is a bag of emotions, love, friendship, past life, historical connection, heartbreak, travel, adventyre, mystery, suspense, mythology, humor, loyalty, affection, treasure hunt, appreciation, reincarnation, promise, and many more.
The story revolves around Shiv (Rudra), Nysa (Mohini), Arjun (Abhay), Saloni (Pallavi). The book starts with Shiv Sanyal's birthday celebration, Arjun and Saloni as his close friend. In the the birthday party Shiv had a peek over a lady with the scar on her back which happens to be similar to the one he got on his ankle and feels attracted towards her without seeing her face. He try to inquire about the lady with scar. He sculpted a statue thinking about the lady and presented in his exhibition. The sculpture was a mater piece by Shiv till date but a critic the sculpture was copied from Khajuraho temple and doubts his original work. Shiv moves to Khajuraho to finds the truth. With every turning page the curiosity to read further keeps on increasing. Language of the book is simple and lucid easy to comprehend for any kind of reader. Words flow smoothly and emotions find expression thus making the book a veritable treat. Narration of the novel is perfect with many twists and turns. The every scene and all character are well crafted that you can actually get images of them in your mind. The present life and after life is beautifully weaved. The historical touch with romance which made the different from usual romance read. I really enjoyed reading the book. The pace of the novel is fast. The author has portrayed each and every character with utmost significance of their own and every one of them has done justice to their respective roles throughout the story. This is the debut novel of author but we don’t seriously feel as if we are reading a book written by a debut author.
