A slam poem...

The poem has been inspired from the song fireworks by Katy parry Slam poem Lyrics from fireworks by Katy parry It all started one day when I felt so alone Alone to sleep alone to roam My thoughts were all broken up When I got to know I again lost up Trying for years I was working hard To win this year those title- avon’s bard... Wrote with my heart and all my soul But somehow my thoughts couldn’t enrol... I was being engulfed with sadness and grief Was feeling like a plastic bag So useless once been used It’s like a burden to be cleared... It was all my thoughts so deep When suddenly I thought my ears’ve got extra powers There was a small ant beneath Was walking with a bigger one May be it was her mom I could listen to what they said very clearly I could understand everything... I was baffled so was sad But my crave got me hear that all The small ant was so tired so bored of its hectic life And her mother singing song for her... The song was so nice that I was relieved From my inner pain and grief “ Do you know that there's still a chance for you 'Cause there's a spark in you You just gotta ignite the light And let it shine Just own the night Like the Fourth of July 'Cause baby you're a firework Come on show 'em what your worth Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!" As you shoot across the sky-y-y Baby you're a firework Come on let your colors burst Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!" You're gonna leave 'em fallin' down down down It was so nice that I felt the power Power of life power of thoughts There’s no end to what you think But here’s a end in this poem I think Never think yourself to be alone You are one of your own kind The world is waiting for what you do Ignite the light and be the one All you need is to do hardwork And there’s nothing you can’t get...... - Yashi mahendra
